Thanks for this article. I might also like to say that it can end up being hard if you find yourself in school and merely starting out to create a long credit rating. There are many learners who are only trying to endure and have long or good credit history are often a difficult issue to have.

You are so right…It is extremely hard for those who are just getting out of college and who are having a hard time finding a decent paying job, as well as paying their bills. So many are socked with high monthly school loans and unfortunately are forced to use credit cards just to survive. It’s very hard for first time home buyer’s due to the high credit scores that the banking institutions now demand. A word to the wise – don’t use credit cards unless you REALLY have to and live within your means!! Thanks for your comment…Claire and Polly
